This summer I had the opportunity to teach art at Camp Oakwood with The Oakwood School, a private school in Greenville, NC. My students ranged in age from kindergarten to 7th grade depending on the session. The campers explored a variety of art concepts and mediums and even dipped their curiosity into some STEAM projects. Our projects included recycled arts, symmetry through the study of bugs, building doodle robots, painting with salt, clay work, printmaking, building and flying kites and more. It was a fun filled week packed with curiosity and creativity for all.
